Prishtina, 12 July 2011 - Anti-Corruption Agency sent today to the Assembly of Kosovo, an analytical report with statistical data on investigating and prosecuting acts of corruption in Kosovo in 2010. The report includes work done by the institutions that are relevant to the fight against corruption mission as: Anti-Corruption Agency, Customs, Police, Prosecutors and Courts.
The report aims to show a realistic view of all activities that have been undertaken by these Institutions in 2010 in separate efforts to fight corruption as a phenomenon of concern in Kosovo.
This report with these statistics is the first of its kind which is made by the Agency and as such will serve to all those who are interested to know about how corruption is fought in Kosovo. From the statistics obtained in this report is indicated that fighting corruption in Kosovo remains extremely far from the desired level.
