PRISHTINA, 21 November 2007 - Director of the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency Hasan Preteni is participating in the second annual conference for the fight against corruption, organized by the International Association of Anti Corruption Authorities (IAACA) being held in Bali, Indonesia.
Today, the four-day conference has brought together 400 delegates of this association of 80 countries and regions and 13 international organizations, where are discussed effective and preventive measures to be taken in relation to the fight against corruption worldwide.
At this conference Mr. Preteni will present the objectives and strategy of the Agency for the prevention and fight against corruption in Kosovo.
The main objective of this meeting, along with changes to the legal framework within the Association, is the drafting of future plans and activities of the Association, on the basis of common positions and efforts and the exchange of experiences of the participants of this conference.
