Quality, clear and true information is essential for a democratic society based on the values of freedom, justice, honesty, respect and dignity," said the APC Director, Yll Buleshkaj.
The agency believes in mutual and honest cooperation with the media to fulfil its legal mandate in the prevention of corruption. Last year, the Agency increased the number of public communication activities compared to previous years, as well as doubled the responses to media and NGO requests, without discrimination of either of them. During 2022, the Agency received and answered more than 170 questions, and initiated more than 30 cases based on media reports.
