In the second week of the regular annual declaration of assets, over 500 public officials responded to the request for the declaration of assets, while about 4737 senior public officials will be subject to the regular annual declaration of assets.
The process of regular annual declaration of assets by senior public officials commenced on 01 March 2022, whereby all senior public officials are obliged to declare their assets to the Anti-Corruption Agency from 01 March to 31 March 2022. The declaration will be made in accordance with the Law on Declaration, Origin and Control of Property of Senior Public Officials and on Declaration, Origin and Control of Gifts, while about 4737 senior public officials will be subject to the declaration of assets.
Director of Anti-Corruption Agency, Mr. Yll Buleshkaj, reminds all declaring entities the failure of public offices to declare assets, in accordance with legal obligations, obliges the Anti-Corruption Agency to file a criminal report pursuant to Article 430 of the Criminal Code.
Regular annual declaration of assets can be done through attendance to ACA office in person or via email [email protected]. Asset declaration forms sent via email must be signed and scanned by the declaring entities.
